Virgin Australia Holdings (ASX:VGN) said Monday it will collaborate with OpenAI to integrate artificial intelligence into the process for customers to plan and shop for travel.
Customers will be able to describe their travel plans or the trip they wish to take and then be directed to the most relevant Virgin Australia flight options, the airline said in a statement.
Virgin Australia recently launched the AI Trip Planner, which helps users build personalized trips, discover destinations, and navigate fare or Velocity Reward Seat availability.
Virgin Australia team members will be equipped with secure, enterprise-grade AI tools.
