CME Group's (CME) data center operator CyrusOne restored stable and secure operations after a 10-hour outage Friday due to overheating, Bloomberg reported Sunday, citing a CyrusOne statement.
CyrusOne also installed additional measures to the cooling systems at the facility located near Chicago and bolstered its backup cooling capacity, the report said, citing CyrusOne.
CME's operations were halted Friday for more than 10 hours due to a failure in the cooling system at the Aurora site.
Neither CME nor CyrusOne immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
