GE Healthcare Files for FDA Approval of New Signa MRI Technology

GE Healthcare Technologies (GEHC) said Sunday it submitted 510(k) filings to the US Food and Drug Administration, seeking approval for its new Signa magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, technology.

The technology includes the Signa Bolt MRI scanner and the Signa Sprint with Freelium sealed magnet MRI system.

GE Healthcare also said it is integrating Nvidia (NVDA) technology to improve its magnetic resonance products' performance.
