BOE Could Pause Interest Rate Cuts After December Meeting -- Market Talk
Dow Jones12-01
1244 GMT - The Bank of England could pause interest-rate cuts after the December rate decision when a quarter-point cut is widely expected, Berenberg's Andrew Wishart says in a note. After the rate decision in December, the BOE is expected to move into "wait and see" mode until the second quarter of 2026 before lowering rates again due to the risk of inflation rising, Wishart says.
