AMC Entertainment (AMC) said Monday that it sold 6.9 million tickets at its AMC and Odeon theaters for the week of Nov. 24 through Nov. 30.
Approximately 5.5 million of the tickets were sold in US theaters, with 1.3 million from Odeon theaters, the theatrical distributor said. It also said its US theaters registered their highest attendance for a Wednesday and a Friday so far this year.
The ticket sales were led by movies Zootopia 2 and Wicked: For Good, AMC said.
