Peking University Resources (HKG:0618) posted 1.88 billion yuan in attributable profit for the fiscal first half, reversing a 1.27 billion yuan loss a year earlier, according to a Nov. 28 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the information products distribution firm were up nearly 34% in Monday afternoon trade.
Earnings per share for the six months ended Sept. 30 came in at 0.6850 yuan, compared with a 0.4680 yuan loss per share in the prior-year period.
Revenue rose to 806.6 million yuan from 746.5 million yuan, the filing showed.
