Alphabet's (GOOG. GOOGL) Google has entered into a collaboration with an arm of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism to improve the digital capabilities of small and medium-sized businesses, the Dubai government said Thursday.
Google and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development plan to launch a pilot program later in the year that will give 10 high-potential Emirati businesses access to premium digital marketing tools, advertising credits and expert mentorship, the government said.
Upon successful completion, the pilot will be scaled into a industry-wide program aimed at supporting a larger cohort of small and medium-sized enterprises, the government said.
