Seamec Signs Five-Year Vessel Charter Deal With HAL Offshore

Seamec (NSE:SEAMECLTD, BOM:526807) has signed a contract with HAL Offshore to charter its multi-support vessel Seamec Agastya for deployment under HAL's ongoing ONGC project, according to a Thursday filing.

The vessel will be hired for five years after statutory dry-dock work, the filing said.

The charter rate is set at $25,000 per day for the remaining four years, with an estimated contract value of about $43.1 million, including GST, it added.

HAL Offshore holds 70.77% in Seamec, according to the filing.
