SEED Boosts Contact Lens Capacity, Targets ROE Improvement

SEED (TYO:7743) said production capacity for contact lenses will rise to 79 million sheets per month from Jan 2026 and 89.5 million by fiscal 2028, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The company aims to lift return on equity (ROE) through cost cuts, higher sales, and new product launches.

R&D ratio is 26-42%, and annual dividend is 15 yen per share, targeting a 30-40% payout and 2.8% yield.
