Vertex Minerals Says New South Wales Gold Mine Underground Loader Loads Ore from Stope by Remote Control

MT Newswires Live12-08 10:44

Vertex Minerals (ASX:VTX) said that the Aramine underground loader loaded ore from the 1438 north stope by remote control at its Reward gold mine in New South Wales, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The firm's Chairman, Roger Jackson, said the equipment needed to be purposely commissioned, and the tele remote hut is designed specifically for the Reward mine and can be moved around on a skid steer.

Its gold production ramp-up is progressing, and the firm is beginning to see gold grades increase as it goes to areas of planned development and production activity.

The firm's shares fell 2% in recent trading on Monday.
