Traeger plans to reduce its workforce as part of an ongoing effort to streamline its structure and cut costs.
The company said the job cuts aim to align its workforce size with its operations after discontinuing its Costco roadshow program, consolidating its pellet mills and taking actions to exit its direct-to-consumer business, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.
The company did not disclose how many jobs it expects to cut. It expects the workforce reduction will result in about $8 million in additional pre-tax cost savings on an annual basis.
