Lithium Americas to Be Added to Canada's S&P/TSX Composite Index

Lithium Americas (LAC) said Monday that its shares will be added to the S&P/TSX Composite Index, effective prior to the open of trading on Dec. 22.

The company described the index as Canada's "premier" equities benchmark.
