EQT Exits Nursing Home Provider Colisee as Part of Creditor-Led Recapitalization

STOCKHOLM--Swedish buyout group EQT is set to exit its position in European nursing home provider Colisee as part of a creditor-led recapitalization of the business.

EQT bought a majority stake in Colisee in 2020, but the business has faced margin deterioration since 2022, driven by several market-related headwinds and operational challenges, it said.

As part of a refinancing plan, EQT and other shareholders are set to exit their position.

The legal and technical implementation of the recapitalization plan is expected to take several months, EQT added.
