Biocytogen Pharmaceuticals (Beijing) (HKG:2315) said its partner Ideaya Biosciences received U.S. regulatory approval to begin human trials of IDE034, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.
Shares of the company gained over 3% in Friday's morning trade.
The medicine was developed using Biocytogen technology and a phase 1 trial of the drug is due to begin patient enrollment in the first quarter of 2026, the firm said.
The companies will initially study the drug in certain types of solid tumors.
