BHP Group's Venture Capital Arm Invests in Canadian Firm to Advance Proprietary Electrochemical Extraction Technology

BHP Group's (ASX:BHP) BHP Ventures joined Canada-based pH7 Technologies' $25.6 million series B financing round as a key strategic investor, according to a Friday statement.

The round was led by Fine Structure Ventures. pH7 will use the proceeds to advance the scaling and commercialization of its closed-loop organo-electrochemical extraction technology for the mining sector, beginning with copper.
