HD Hyundai (KRX:267250) has signed an initial agreement for the construction of a new shipyard in Tamil Nadu, India, according to a the company press release on Monday.
The Tamil Nadu government has selected HD Hyundai to construct the shipyard and offered incentives and subsidies for the project, the company said.
The new shipyard will be built in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi region.
