Sector Update: Financial Stocks Lean Lower Premarket Friday

Financial stocks were leaning lower premarket Friday, with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) declining by 0.1%.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 0.2% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.5% higher.

SoFi Technologies (SOFI) stock was down more than 7% after the company said it is launching a $1.5 billion common stock offering.

Blackstone's (BX) preliminary talks for a potential deal with Big Yellow Group have ended after the British self-storage company said Thursday there was no basis to continue discussions on a potential transaction. Blackstone shares were up 1% pre-bell.

Visa (V) will move its European headquarters from London's Paddington district to One Canada Square in Canary Wharf under a 15-year lease starting in summer 2028, Canary Wharf Group said. Visa shares were slightly lower premarket.
