Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) hired two short-duration traders from Deutsche Bank (DB) to expand its markets business, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Christopher Kung joined as a director, the report said. Craig Pengitore is expected to start next month as a managing director and head of short-end cash trading, a Wells Fargo spokesperson said, according to Bloomberg.
Deutsche Bank declined to comment to MT Newswires, and Wells Fargo did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
