Major digital assets fell Thursday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) dropping below $93,000.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, fell 1.2% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq rose 0.1% in late trading, the S&P 500 was little changed, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average eased 0.1%.
Bitcoin fell 0.8% to $92,479, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume fell 11% to $68 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, gained 0.2% to $3,141.
XRP (XRP-USD) shed 4.1%, BNB (BNB-USD) dropped 0.8%, and Solana (SOL-USD) lost 0.9%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) fell 1.5%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) declined 0.7%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.106% at 3 p.m. ET Thursday, up from 4.056% Wednesday, while the five-year yield was 3.68%, up from 3.622%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry fell 0.9% in the past 24 hours to $3.13 trillion with trading volume dropping 0.8% to $196.1 billion.
