Airbus Appears on Track to Reach New Delivery Goal -- Market Talk

Dow Jones12-05 17:00

0900 GMT - Airbus appears on track to meet its new delivery target after the company reported 72 deliveries in November, Jefferies analysts say in a research note. November deliveries are down 14% on the year, but one aircraft ahead of Jefferies' preview. According to the analysts, A320neos drove the November decrease in deliveries, likely affected by the recent software and panel quality issues. The plane maker must achieve an 8% rise in December deliveries to reach its new 790 delivery goal, which it lowered from roughly 820 this week. Jefferies considers that achievable, barring engine delivery or panel inspection disruptions. Shares trade 0.8% higher at 198.54 euros. (sarah.sloat@wsj.com)
