Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) has established a strategic partnership with Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI to explore the use of artificial intelligence in financial services, the companies said Friday.
The collaboration will focus on developing AI tools for customer service, including a conversational assistant.
The companies said also they will work on building systems to streamline risk analysis and improve BBVA's internal operations.
Microsoft has invested billions of dollars into OpenAI.
