Smoore International (HKG:6969) said its trustee purchased 8.14 million shares on the market on Thursday for its share award plan, according to a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the electric vape company were down nearly 4% in Friday morning trade.
The shares were bought at an average price of about HK$12.26 each, for a total consideration of roughly HK$99.8 million.
Following the purchase, the trustee holds 87.7 million shares, or about 1.42% of Smoore's issued share capital.
