Boeing Delivered 44 Jets in November, Trailing Airbus

Boeing delivered 44 jets in November, a decline from 53 deliveries in October and trailing rival Airbus, which delivered 72 jets in the same period.

The airplane manufacturer said Tuesday it shipped 32 of its 737 MAX airplanes, including five to Southwest Airlines and three to American Airlines. It also shipped 12 wide-body aircraft.

The Arlington, Va., company also saw 164 airplane orders for the month, including 65 orders of its 777X jet for Emirates, and 46 jets ordered by unidentified customers. It said it moved 26 airplanes into its backlog, resulting in 152 net orders for the month.

Boeing stock was down 2.8% to $200.50. It's gained 13% this year.
