SMRT (KLSE:SMRT) signed a conditional deal to acquire a 37.5% stake in Novus Technologies for SG$7.1 million in cash, according to a Monday Malaysian bourse filing.
The acquisition gives SMRT access to Novus Technologies' digital platforms, payments technology, and regional customer base, supporting its growth in IT and IoT solutions.
The deal is expected to be completed before the year ends, subject to regulatory approvals.
