Pennon Group said chairman David Sproul would lead an operating committee to oversee the company's operations while it waits for its new chief executive officer to join.
The owner of South West Water said Tuesday that Sproul would take the position from the start of next year until Keith Haslett joins the company, which it expects to be no later than June 30.
Current CEO Susan Davy is set to retire on Dec. 31.
Pennon's financial chief, investor relations officer and general counsel will also sit on the operating committee, the company said.
