Worley (ASX:WOR) said it delivered engineering work across multiple US-based sites of bp's Archaea Energy for transforming landfill gas into renewable natural gas from early 2024, according to a Wednesday statement.
These include modular facilities designed for different flow rates, and current projects are underway in North Carolina, Colorado, and Montana.
The facilities upgrade previously flared landfill biogas into pipeline-quality renewable natural gas, also known as biomethane, using Archaea's Modular Design framework.
Worley's scope began with engineering support and has expanded to include front-end engineering design, detailed design, balance of plant design, procurement support, and inventory management.
The firm's shares fell 2% in recent trading on Wednesday.
