Crude oil output at the oilfield of PetroChina (HKG:0857, SHA:601857) parent China National Petroleum Corp. in Xinjiang topped 1.7 million tonnes so far this year, Xinhua News Agency reported Tuesday.
Shale oil output jumped 4.2 times from 322,000 tonnes in 2020, the report said, citing Du Xuebiao, manager of CNPC Xinjiang Oilfield's Jiqing oilfield operation zone.
