Aris Mining (ARMN) said Friday it now owns 100% of the Soto Norte gold project in Colombia after completing the acquisition of the remaining 49% interest from Mubadala's MDC Industry unit.
Aris Mining also said the precious metals stream granted to Mubadala previously has been terminated.
The company said in November that the transaction price was $80 million, consisting of $60 million in cash and about 1.7 million newly issued Aris Mining common shares.
Shares of Aris Mining were up more than 3% in recent premarket activity Friday.
