Astroscale's (TYO:186A) loss attributable to owners narrowed to 2.66 billion yen in the fiscal first half from 12.9 billion a year earlier.
The space research and tech company's loss per share narrowed to 19.95 yen from 116.35 yen, according to its Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.
Meanwhile, revenue surged 261% to 2.62 billion yen in the six months ended Oct. 31, from 725 million yen in the year-ago period.
No dividends were declared for the prior fiscal year, and none are forecast for the current year.
For the fiscal year ending April 2026, the company expects revenue of 5 billion yen to 6 billion yen while still projecting a net loss of 9.7 to 10.7 billion yen. Loss per share is expected to be between 72.15 yen and 79.59 yen.
