HL Mando Shares Could See Re-Rating Driven by Robotics Business -- Market Talk

Dow Jones12-12

0317 GMT - HL Mando's shares could see a re-rating opportunity driven by renewed optimism surrounding its robotics business, Daiwa Capital analysts Yoonki Bae and Henny Jung write in a note. The analysts are positive about the South Korean car-component supplier's efforts to position itself to become a key supplier of humanoid robot actuators while continuing growth in its core auto business. Its robotics segment could begin to secure contract wins in late 2026, they say. They note that the company aims to begin its mass production of humanoid actuators in 2027-2028 and secure a 10% share in the global humanoid actuator market by 2035. (kwanwoo.jun@wsj.com)
