Klarna (KLAR) said Thursday that it has formed a research partnership with Privy, a wallet infrastructure platform, to explore and co-design crypto wallet solutions aimed at making digital assets more accessible to everyday consumers.
The partnership builds on Klarna's recent launch of its KlarnaUSD stablecoin with Tempo and Bridge, further advancing its push into digital asset offerings, the company said.
Privy, a Stripe company, will enable Klarna users to securely hold digital assets globally, invest, and transact with peers, Klarna added.
Shares of Klarna were up 2% in recent trading.
