Aeluma (ALMU) said Tuesday that it has filed a new patent application that expands its intellectual property portfolio to 35 issued and pending patents.
The most recent application relates to volume manufacturing of compound semiconductor photonics used for optical communications for mobile, consumer electronics, and data center applications, the company said.
It complements earlier patents and pending applications related to 3D imaging sensors for consumer electronics and defense systems, the company said.
