Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund (TYO:9284) has completed restoration work at its Kasama-shi Da-san solar plant after copper cables were stolen in September, prompting a partial outage, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The repair, finished on Thursday, involved switching to aluminum cables, encasing exposed lines in concrete and adding security cameras and warning signs. The plant has returned to full operation.
Restoration costs came to about yen 7.3 million. The fund said the impact on rental income is limited because it receives 70% of projected monthly output as basic rent.
