Top Bright (TPE:8499) unit Long Young Electronic (Kunshan) acquired a structured deposit from China CITIC Bank (SHA:601998) valued at 20 million yuan.
The structured deposit is intended for short-term investment purposes, according to a Friday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The acquisition will form part of the unit's investment portfolio, it said.
