AI And Quantum Computing Can Work Together On 'Two-Way Street' -- Market Talk

Dow Jones12-12

0814 ET - Artificial intelligence and quantum computing can accelerate each other's expansion as the two technologies get increasingly interconnected, says Tal David, CEO of Quantum Art. The Israeli startup recently raised $100 million to speed up the development of its quantum-computing technology. "Where do quantum and AI meet together? It's really a two-way street," David says. He points to the work Quantum Art is doing with BlueQubit, a Los Angeles-based provider of quantum-based software simulations, on ways to use quantum computing to beef up machine-learning systems, especially for image processing. "It also works in the other direction," David adds. "We are using generative AI in order to write our code [for quantum-computing algorithms] in a more efficient way." (luis.garcia@wsj.com)
