Ally Financial (ALLY) said Wednesday that its board has approved repurchases of up to $2 billion of its common shares under a multi-year program.
Ally said the share repurchase program does not have an expiry date, and it may begin buybacks in the current quarter.
Shares of the company were up nearly 3% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
