Sainsbury's Value Perception Is Driving Its Stock -- Market Talk

1249 GMT - Sainsbury's value perception has improved in comparison with peers, thanks to its price matches on value items and scaling of prices for its Nectar program, analysts at Deutsche Bank say. This is driving volume outperformance, and its improving market share momentum, the analysts write in a note. The grocer is benefiting from increased socializing at home, healthier food, and everyday treats and convenience, the analysts add. Shares are up 0.7% at 314 pence. (aimee.look@wsj.com)
