Beijing Tong Ren Tang (SHA:600085) has secured a Canadian registration for its traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) product, Shenling Baizhu Powder, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Tuesday.
The product is used to relieve symptoms of spleen and stomach weakness, such as poor appetite and loose stools. It can also relieve shortness of breath, cough and fatigue, the company said.
The license serves as a product marketing authorization in Canada.
The company has so far spent about 2.29 million yuan on the product's research and development.
