1247 ET - Home Depot says that a turnaround in the home improvement market is coming but when it will arrive is difficult to predict. At the company's investor day Tuesday, it guided for the home improvement market to be in the -1.0% to 1.0% range in 2026, given continued high interest rates and economic uncertainty. Telsey Advisory Group analysts lower their 12-month price target to $410 from $430 and say that amid affordability concerns and weak consumer confidence, the home improvement market could take time to pick up. "Our view is we are in a bottoming phase, but we likely won't see much improvement in 2026," the analysts say. (nicholas.miller@wsj.com)
