InnoScience (Suzhou) Technology (HKG:2577) said its new-generation 6.6-kilowatt on-board charger using 650-volt GaN technology has been installed in Changan Automobile vehicles, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the gallium-nitride-on-silicon wafer maker rose nearly 2% in Tuesday morning trade.
The GaN-based system, developed with Suzhou Inovance Automotive, integrates the on-board charger and DC-DC converter and offers higher charging efficiency and power density, the filing said.
