1515 GMT - Yields on 10-year and 30-year U.K. government bonds, or gilts, rise to three-week highs on caution before Thursday's Bank of England decision. The BOE is expected to cut interest rates by 25 basis points but in a tight vote, potentially with four out of nine policymakers favoring holding rates. Investors are wary that rates could be unchanged, especially after earlier above-forecast U.K. purchasing managers' surveys, says eToro's Lale Akoner. "Markets still see a rate cut as likely but not guaranteed." This uncertainty "pushes gilt yields slightly higher as some reduce duration exposure." Ten-year gilt yields rise around 6 basis points to 4.556%, while thirty-year yields reach 5.303%, Tradeweb data show. (jessica.fleetham@wsj.com)
