Humana's insurance segment president, George Renaudin, plans to retire next year after nearly three decades with the provider of health-insurance services.

Humana on Tuesday said Renaudin will retire by the third quarter of next year but will remain with the Louisville, Ky., company in an advisory capacity until at least the end of 2026.

Humana's insurance segment, which includes its Medicare Advantage and Medicaid programs, accounted for roughly 96% of the company's $97 billion in revenue during the first nine months of 2025.

Humana said Aaron Martin, most recently vice president of healthcare at Amazon, will join the company in January in the newly created post of president of Medicare Advantage.

Martin will become insurance segment president following Renaudin's retirement, while John Barger, currently president of Humana's Medicaid and dual-eligible programs, will succeed Martin as president of Medicare Advantage, the company said.
