PBF put out coker fire at Torrance, California refinery on SundayHOUSTON, Dec 15 (Reuters) - PBF Energy PBF.N extinguished a fire on Sunday morning in a coker unit at its 160,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Los Angeles-area refinery in Torrance, California, according to a notice filed with the California Office of Emergency Services.
The notice did not identify on which of two cokers the fire broke out at the refinery. The South Unit coker has a 25,000-bpd capacity and the North Unit coker has a 27,000-bpd capacity.
