DeFi Technologies (DEFT) said Monday it has been granted approval to trade Brazilian depositary receipts representing its common shares for institutional investors in Brazil, effective Wednesday.
The approval by Brazil's B3 exchange will allow Brazilian investors to trade the company's stock without having to do so on international exchanges.
BDRs are certificates issued in Brazil that represent shares of foreign companies traded and settled per Brazilian market procedures.
