Image credit: CnEVPost)\nTesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model 3 electric sedan long-range rear-wheel-drive variant now faces extended wait times in China until next year, following a similar change last week for the model's highest-performance and most expensive variant.\nChinese customers ordering a customized Model 3 long-range rear-wheel-drive variant now expect delivery in February 2026, according to Tesla China's website.\nPriced starting at RMB 259,500 ($36,810) in China, this variant is the second-lowest priced among the Model 3's four trims.\n\n\nJoin us on \nTelegram\n or \nGoogle News\n\n\nDelivery wait times for the Model 3's other three variants -- priced starting at RMB 235,500, RMB 285,500, and RMB 339,500 -- remain unchanged as of today.\nThe delivery wait for the highest-priced performance variant remains at February 2026. The other two variants -- the entry-level base model and the long-range all-wheel-drive version --still show a 4-6 week wait.\n\nNotably, the entire lineup of the electric sedan still has in-stock vehicles available.
