Ford to Close Retirement Plan to New Retirees

Ford Motor is closing its select retirement plan to new retirees.

The plan, which provides voluntary retirement incentives to some management or other highly-compensated employees, will be closed to new retirees effective Jan. 2, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.

The plan was closed to new entrants effective in 2024. It was established in 1994.
