BUZZ-Everest Medicines at 4-week high as key shareholder, executives buy shares

** Shares of pharmaceutical products and vaccines developer Everest Medicines 1952.HK jump 8.3% to HK$48.54, their highest level since Nov. 14

** Stock set for the biggest one-day pct rise since Aug. 4, on the fourth straight session of gains

** Company said on Monday its key shareholder CBC Group has undertaken to increase its shareholding by not more than 1% in the open-market in next three to six months to signify its strong confidence in company's prospects and development

** Company also says its chairman Wei Fu and three others senior management had on Dec. 12 bought a total 846,659 shares for an aggregate HK$38 mln ($4.88 million), representing an average price of about HK$45 per share

** YTD, stock down 1.5%, while Hang Seng Biotech Index .HSBIO up 71.3%
