--Michelin is among a group of 25 potential suitors for Italian industrial hose manufacturer Alfa Gomma, having previously approached the company with a 1.2 billion euro ($1.41 billion) offer, according to Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera.
--Company information has already been sent to the group that also includes industrial groups Parker Hannifin, Trelleborg and Eaton, as well as firms including Apollo, Advent, and Bain, Corriere Della Sera says.
--The company hopes to close the sale by April, according to the newspaper.
