U.K. Economic Indicators Could Cause BOE to Favor More Rate Cuts -- Market Talk

1545 GMT - Recent U.K. economic indicators revealing slowing inflation, rising unemployment and weak growth could push the Bank of England to favor more interest-rate cuts, Moneyfarm's Richard Flax says in a note. Markets price in a 99% probability of a BOE rate cut at Thursday's policy announcement, LSEG data show. Focus will likely be on the vote split and on how the BOE frames its outlook for 2026.
