BP's Near-Term Direction Unlikely to Change -- Market Talk

Dow Jones12-19

0921 GMT - BP's strategy is unlikely to significantly change under its incoming CEO Meg O'Neill, UBS analysts write. However, the appointment of an external leader will likely facilitate a faster change in its culture, they add. O'Neill will shape the British oil major's 2030 and 2035 plan, which will likely be set out end of 2026 or early 2027, they say. BP's shares trade down 0.7% at 417.50 pence.(adam.whittaker@wsj.com)
